Background
Community Councils exist to ascertain, co-ordinate and express the views of the local community they represent, and to take action in the interests of that community.
East Lammermuir Community Council has been working with stakeholders to share information on existing and proposed future energy and infrastructure developments in the local area.
This activity is intended to help inform local opinion and understand what actions should be taken, including:
- commenting on planning applications
- seeking to mitigate impact of any construction work
- to agree how best the local area can be improved by and with developers working here
